What is the community edition of HIATLANTIS?

The HIATLANTIS community edition is a CRM made for small business and distributed freely. You can use the CRM, make modifications, and build on the application. The HIATLANTIS community edition is licensed under the LGPLv3 while the documentation is licensed under the Creative Commons license.

  No, but you can sell the HIATLANTIS commercial edition.
Q) Can I get support for the community edition of HIATLANTIS?

  Yes, but you can purchase the CRM module of HIATLANTIS, which includes support. Telephone support services are also provided by contacting Technology Alignment during normal business hours. Free support is also provided via the forums.
Q) Can I upgrade from the community edition to the commercial edition of HIATLANTIS?

Yes, you can purchase a copy of the commercial edition of HIATLANTIS and perform an upgrade once you recieve a copy of the serial number required for HIATLANTIS.

There are several ways in which anyone can be involved using HIATLANTIS in testing and/or development. Since it is a community product, we welcome any developers using PHP and/or PostgreSQL to join us. You may also test the application, although the application is in the Technology Alignment repositories, these can be added currently some other distributions including MINT, K/Ubuntu, MEPIS 6.5 and others. The Warrior repositories will work with Debian of course when they are released.
